At Blackpool, Comet have extended their lease term and are extending the property to 12,000 sq. ft. being refitted in their latest format.
Comet have enabled Pets At Home to take two new stores by surrendering part of their outlets on Goldstone Retail Park, Hove where Comet are occupying 12,000 sq. ft. and re-fitting with their two storey trading format and at Nene Valley Retail Park, Northampton, Comet have taken a new 10 year lease on a 20,000 sq. ft. unit.
Rokeby Developments have completed their brand new Open A1 Retail Park at Swadlincote. The scheme, where Stephen Smart & Co are letting agents, is 95% pre let with Peacocks opening 10th August 2011. Other occupiers of the scheme include, Home Bargains, Argos, Store 21, Iceland, Aldi, Odeon Cinemas and Hungry Horse.
Acting for Draco Property, Stephen Smart & Co have re-geared the Specsavers in Kings Chase, Bristol for a new 10 year lease, on an extended store. David Christopher Jewellers have also completed a new lease of Unit 7, whilst Timpsons have just opened a new store. The scheme is now fully let, save Unit 19, which is available on a new lease.

Beckton Retail Park: On behalf of Deutsche Private Wealth Management, Stephen Smart & Co have secured a letting to Family Bargains of 20,000 sq ft. The store opens in Autumn 2011. There remains the opportunity to acquire up to 65,000 sq ft of Open A1 retail including the sale of food.
